Radiesse® treatments are performed in our office and takes about 30 minutes. Radiesse® is pre-loaded in syringes for use in treating and correcting your facial lines and other soft tissue defects. Unlike other fillers, Radiesse® is not absorbed by the body. Therefore, we do not need to over-fill the wrinkle and your results are immediate.
The patient can go home right after the Radiesse treatment session. They can perform normal activities immediately, including going back to work, since no recovery time will be needed.
Patients may experience temporary bruising and swelling after treatment. The treated area must not be massaged to avoid spreading the Radiesse solution.
Depending on the area treated, most corrections can last for several months. However, in the typical case, some touch-up treatments are necessary.
