Is Ultherapy Right for Me?
Ultherapy is highly recommended to patients in their 30s or older with noticeable mild to moderate sagging in their brow, face, and neck area. Ideal candidates do not want surgical lift procedures to treat their skin aging issues. Patients with realistic expectations are excellent candidates. Pregnant women are not recommended to undergo this skin-rejuvenation treatment. Patients with extremely saggy skin or significant sun damage are recommended to consider other lift procedures.
What to Expect During the Consultation
Your consultation with Dr. Reddy will start by discussing your skin concerns and goals. A physical exam will be performed to determine the laxity and condition of your skin. After an evaluation of your medical records, she will determine if you are a good candidate for Ultherapy. A treatment plan will be presented, and Dr. Reddy will discuss all the details with you. She will also recommend a specific number of sessions based on the condition of your skin and your aesthetic goals. Asking questions is encouraged during your consultation.

The procedure only takes 30-60 minutes. The skin will be cleansed before applying an ultrasound gel and placing the handpiece on the treatment area. Next, ultrasound energy will be used to evenly treat the targeted region.
Aftercare
The patient can go back to regular activities after treatment without any need for recovery time. Dr. Reddy will give aftercare instructions, which must be followed closely. Redness can be seen after treatment but will disappear within a few hours. In addition, temporary swelling, tenderness, and tingling sensation may be experienced for a few days. Many patients see some initial effect immediately. But the ultimate lifting usually takes 2 – 3 months. Ultherapy® offers a natural, ‘no downtime’ approach to noticeably improving lax skin.
